About the role
- Buyer for Food sector at Klüh Service Management. Responsibilities include supplier management, purchasing strategies, and cross-departmental projects.
Responsibilities
- You will be jointly responsible for supplier management (including LkSG/German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act & sustainability) and for expanding supplier relationships
- You will ensure profit-oriented purchasing management, including negotiating terms and prices, running tenders and monitoring budgets
- You will identify new sourcing channels and optimize the supplier and item portfolio
- You will analyze manufacturer potential and price structures and participate in contract finalizations
- You will support the development of efficient purchasing strategies and processes
- You will contribute to cross-departmental projects
Requirements
- Completed commercial training (or equivalent qualification) required
- Relevant experience in purchasing food items or several years in comparable positions is mandatory, preferably from the catering or food industry
- Fluent German (spoken and written) required for internal and external communication
- Very good PC and MS Office skills required
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and/or other ERP systems desirable
- Willingness to travel occasionally (maximum once per month) desirable
