About the role
- CAD/PDM Consultant focusing on CAD and PDM system support and project management. Collaborating with international departments on engineering optimization at Kelvion.
Responsibilities
- Take on central responsibilities within the CAD/PDM specialist team
- Central support and further development of the CAD and PDM system landscape
- Design and maintenance of interfaces to ERP, CRM, and PLM systems
- Project management of PDM migration projects
- Advise national and international departments on optimizing engineering and product development processes
- Support the design of product data structures
- Coordinate external service providers and provide second-level support
Requirements
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable technical qualification
- Solid experience with CAD and PDM systems (ideally Autodesk Vault, Inventor, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of data migration (ETL)
- Process understanding, in particular of product development and change processes
- Technical understanding of interfaces (e.g., XML)
- Basic IT affinity
- Excellent English skills and strong communication ability
- Structured, solution-oriented working style as well as project and team skills
