Responsibilities
Join KBR's National Maritime Team working on design and planning activities for multi-discipline maritime facilities.
Lead technical delivery of projects across various industries including defence, local/state government, and sustainability.
Collaborate with other disciplines within KBR and partners on significant projects.
Leverage existing maritime & coastal engineering experience for concept designs through to construction phase support.
Utilize project management and design management skills in delivering maritime projects.
Requirements
Significant experience in the design, evaluation and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, marine structures and dredging.
Significant experience with coastal modelling and/or structural modelling software.
Significant experience working with the local governments, port clients and/or the Defence sector.
Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines.
Actively driving innovation within the team and providing supervision, guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
Ability to project manage and/or design manage large maritime projects; or teams within larger multidisciplinary projects.
Ability to actively engage with clients, pursue and position for opportunities and leverage existing connections to win work.
Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership within an agreed timeframe).
Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
