About the role
- Junior SAP Operator / SAP Basis Consultant supporting clients in energy, public, healthcare, and industry sectors. Monitoring SAP systems, handling migrations, and collaborating with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the stable operation and monitoring of complex SAP system landscapes (including S/4HANA, BW, SAP BTP) for clients in the energy and utilities sector, public administration, healthcare, and industry
- Perform system copies, release changes, upgrades and patches — including quality assurance and documentation
- Maintain and optimize SAP environments in AWS or Azure and integrate them with SAP BTP
- Support SAP migration projects from on-premises to the cloud and actively shape hybrid architectures as well as automate deployments and operational processes (e.g., with Ansible)
- Work closely with SAP consultants, developers and external partners to ensure availability, performance and security on an ongoing basis
- Take on partial responsibilities in SAP projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational and architecture standards
- Continuous professional development through exposure to new SAP technologies, project assignments and individual training measures
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science or a comparable technical qualification
- Practical experience in SAP Basis operations or system administration
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver and an interest in cloud services such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of databases, operating systems and networks
- Curiosity about cloud technologies, automation and SAP security
- Team player with a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for supporting clients in the energy and utilities sector, public administration, healthcare and industry on their journey to the SAP cloud
- Fluent German and ideally good English skills
