About the role
- Senior Buchhalter managing financial processes and ensuring compliance at JUFA Hotels. Overseeing monthly closings and internal controls within a hybrid office structure.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and ongoing posting of business transactions
- Ensure proper ledger accounting including profit and loss (P&L)
- Preparation of closing documentation for external audits
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and clearing accounts
- Work on special topics and contribute to the development and optimization of existing accounting processes
- Point of contact for internal departments and external partners on accounting and financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Completed relevant vocational training
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting under the UGB and Austrian tax law
- Knowledge of the HGB and group/consolidated accounting is an advantage
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, Excel)
- Ideally experience with BMD NTCS
- Numerical affinity, assertiveness and a structured working style
- (Initial) leadership experience is welcome but not required
