About the role
- Embedded Hardware Engineer developing IoT solutions for Noise Sensors, collaborating with clients throughout the product lifecycle. Involves firmware development and hardware prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Further development and maintenance of firmware for existing noise sensors
- Development of new sensor types based on ESP32
- Creation of hardware concepts, building prototypes and supporting them through to production readiness
- Support for testing, commissioning and on-site customer projects
Requirements
- Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers and the Espressif SDK (esp-idf)
- Proficient in C, FreeRTOS, MQTT and comfortable with Bash or PowerShell
- Solid technical understanding of electrical engineering and sensor technology (including soldering skills)
- Proven experience in hardware development
- Independent, structured working style with strong communication skills in German and English
