About the role

- Academic background in Physics and Mathematics
- Experience with cloud computing environments such as GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Experience in git for collaborative development of data science workflows/products through DevOps
- Knowledge in supervised and unsupervised learning, simulation, optimisation, graph theory, and model validation
- Strong intuition for data including statistical and machine learning principles
- Tenacity in problem solving with emphasis on perseverance and scientific method
- Competence in using multiple data sources and wrangling complex data
- Previous line reporting experience
- Desire to develop as a people leader
- Comfortable in line managing and organizing workload of the team
