About the role
- Senior APQP Engineer managing Advanced Product Quality Planning in mechatronic projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product quality standards from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes
- Leading and coordinating APQP activities for mechatronic products
- Developing and implementing quality strategies throughout the product development process
- Conducting risk analyses (FMEA, fault tree analyses)
- Facilitating design and process approvals
- Collaborating with R&D, production, procurement and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
- Monitoring and analysing quality metrics
- Training and supporting team members in APQP-related methods and tools
- Reporting and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector
- Solid knowledge of APQP methodology and experience with FMEA, PPAP, SPC and other quality management tools
- Technical understanding of mechatronic systems and their manufacturing processes
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical thinking skills
