About the role
- Quality Engineer responsible for assuring quality in production across two sites in Germany. Focused on quality planning, supplier management, and process evaluations with a critical technical understanding.
Responsibilities
- Independent quality planning in development and series projects
- Management and approval of purchased parts and suppliers during project phases
- Independent evaluation of requirements and preparation of quality-related documents
- Facilitation, documentation and monitoring of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs)
- Independent execution of process assessments including process capability analyses
- Handling of customer complaints including analysis, immediate actions and sustainable problem resolution
- Independent preparation of evaluations and quality reports
- Facilitation and follow-up of problem-solving sessions
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical or business-technical degree, scientific training, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management or quality planning in a similar role
- Strong technical understanding
- In-depth knowledge of common quality tools (especially FMEA, APQP, sampling/PPAP, problem solving/8D)
- Good SAP and MS Office skills
- Fluent English and German, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and proven conflict-resolution skills as well as ability to integrate into teams
- Independent and responsible working style, analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer orientation, high stress resilience and flexibility are an advantage
