About the role
- Senior Site Reliability Engineer developing and improving cloud infrastructure for INSPYRE. Participate in diverse projects including fintech, blockchain, and e-learning while using CI/CD practices and Python-based services.
Responsibilities
- Participate in diverse projects from various industries, including fintech, blockchain, well-being, navigation, e-learning, etc.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS and drive continuous improvements.
- Work with Python-based services running in Docker containers, deployed to GCP and AWS, and run locally via Docker Compose.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python experience
- Experience designing and operating cloud-based systems
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
- Solid understanding of containerization using Docker
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production environments
- Familiarity with at least one additional cloud provider (AWS or Azure)
- Experience deploying, running, and maintaining services in the cloud
- Good understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability principles
- Comfortable working in Linux and/or macOS development environments
- Solid experience with version control (Git)
- Fluency in Hungarian and English.
