About the role
- Finance Manager responsible for Accounts Receivable functions in Vietnam. Joining a rapidly growing SaaS company focused on customer engagement and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of domestic and international invoices in compliance with Vietnamese billing and accounting regulations
- Manage end-to-end invoicing processes for Vietnam-based customers, ensuring correctness and regulatory compliance
- Regularly review customer balances and lead collections follow-ups, including: Email communication, Phone calls, In-person visits when necessary
- Proactively report invoicing and collection issues to HQ Finance and work closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve them
- Maintain regular customer reconciliations to ensure alignment on outstanding balances and payment status
- Support monthly and annual accounting closing activities
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in line with internal controls and local requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or other related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role, ideally in a global, scaling tech company.
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent command of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Solid knowledge of Vietnamese invoicing and accounting regulations
- Hands-on experience with domestic and cross-border billing in Vietnam
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections, including direct customer communication
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and balance tracking
- Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to work on-site at least 3 days per week
