About the role

  • Behavior Therapist providing one-on-one therapy to clients in diverse environments. Collaborating with BCBAs to implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools
  • Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives
  • Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals
  • Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan
  • Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors
  • Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification
  • Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period
  • Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
