About the role
- Technical Accounting Manager leading U.S. GAAP compliance projects for IGT's gaming and digital solutions. Involves collaboration with finance and product teams for accurate account management.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting guidance (both US GAAP and IFRS) to internal customers and prepare technical accounting position papers supporting conclusions reached.
- Provide guidance and training to divisional accounting and finance directors on technical accounting matters.
- Monitor and review the actual recording of the accounting treatment to ensure compliance with the issued technical accounting papers.
- Assist with the analysis of contracts under revenue recognition and leasing standards.
- Perform key control activities identified for matters within the team scope.
- Support the month end close process.
- Support the quarterly and annual financial statement disclosure process.
- Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. Degree in Accounting
- +5 years of combined Public and Private Industry accounting
- CPA certified, preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience within a multinational business preferred.
