About the role
- Senior Cyber Security Consultant at HvS-Consulting focusing on ISMS development and team leadership. Engaging clients in ISO 27001 compliance and strategic cybersecurity improvements.
Responsibilities
- You take a central role in further building and strategically developing our ISMS/BCMS consulting portfolio
- Ensure that the cyber security rulebook at our clients is not just a stack of paper, but that the defined security requirements are actually implemented and lived
- You support clients in the implementation and further development of information security management systems (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX®, BSI IT-Grundschutz) and act as an experienced consultant
- You prepare our clients for internal and external audits, coach them in dealing with auditors, and provide practical advice for successful certification
- You take responsibility for complex client projects and their technical management, ensuring the quality of our consulting services
- You hold conversations and sales calls with pre-qualified prospects, further develop client relationships, and identify new project opportunities
- You professionally prepare audit documentation, reports, and action plans
- You continuously develop best practices, methods, and internal standards and actively contribute your experience to the development of our teams
- After successfully taking on initial responsibilities and achieving positive project results, you will have the prospect of taking on the technical and disciplinary leadership of our ISMS/BCMS team
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in ISMS, particularly ISO 2700x, BSI IT-Grundschutz, VDA ISA / TISAX®, KRITIS and related requirements
- Completed degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on IT, information security or related fields
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Approximately 20% willingness to travel, mainly within the DACH region
