About the role

• React Developer at Teleport, focused on building responsive UI features using React and TypeScript. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Building responsive, performant UI features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript — owning delivery from Figma design handoff to production.
• Integrating with REST APIs using Axios, handling async flows, error states, and edge cases reliably.
• Ensuring UI quality and performance — resolving bugs, optimising load times, and maintaining design fidelity using Material UI.
• Collaborating with Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to shared component libraries.
• Using Git for version control and working within agile, sprint-based delivery cycles.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional frontend development experience with a proven track record of shipping React-based products.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript — including modern ES6+ patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Material UI (MUI) — building and customising components within a design system.
• Confident with Axios and REST API integration — async handling, error management, and API contracts.
• Able to read and implement designs accurately from Figma, collaborating effectively with designers.
• Practical experience with frontend performance optimisation — lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient rendering.
• Proficient with Git — branching, pull requests, and collaborative team workflows.
• Good to have:
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services or deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows and frontend build processes.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with state management libraries — Redux, Zustand
