About the role
- Consultant engaging in IT emergency management for various businesses. Collaborating on security assessments and crisis response efforts while supporting client resilience efforts.
Responsibilities
- Learn to identify vulnerabilities and help clients improve security with IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies — on-site and remotely.
- Participate in handling security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Support our clients in ensuring their operational continuity.
- Raise client awareness of emergency preparedness through awareness workshops, IT emergency drills, and failover and functional tests.
- Gain exposure to related areas such as information security and 3rd Party Risk Management.
Requirements
- Practical experience in system integration, e.g., data center administration or IT service at a systems integrator; alternatively, a degree in an IT-related field (e.g., (business) informatics, Cyber Security Management, or similar).
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations, plus initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL-compliant operational processes.
- Motivation to dive into complex topics, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and a confident presence.
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German.
