About the role
- Consultant IT-Notfallmanagement in a growing firm guiding clients in securing IT processes. Engage in incident management and develop contingency strategies for business resilience.
Responsibilities
- Learn to identify vulnerabilities and help clients improve security with IT emergency concepts, run and recovery plans, and data backup strategies—both on-site and remotely.
- Participate in security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Support our clients in ensuring their operational capability.
- Raise client awareness of emergencies through awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, and failover and functional tests.
Requirements
- Practical experience in system integration, e.g., data center administration or in the IT service department of an IT systems provider; alternatively, a degree in IT (e.g., Business Informatics, Cyber Security Management) or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations, plus initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL-compliant operational processes.
- Drive to dive into complex topics, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and a confident professional presence.
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German.
