About the role
- Cloud Engineer managing secure AWS cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code. Collaborating closely with incident response, DevOps, and development teams for security.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters, e.g. EKS, and maintain them efficiently
- Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines including DevSecOps checks
- Support the Incident Response team in the analysis and handling of IT security incidents
- Work closely with clients as well as DevOps, security and development teams
Requirements
- Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Analytical mindset to structure complexity, clarify relationships, and the ability to design and explain concepts
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
