About the role

• Junior Teamlead BI Consultant managing Data & Cloud consulting projects for HICO Group in Switzerland. Leading project delivery and team collaboration with international consultants.

Responsibilities

• Financial responsibility and team leadership for the Data & Cloud Consulting practice in Switzerland
• Project management, design and implementation of complex data warehouse (DWH) projects
• Project ownership for globally operating enterprise clients
• Close collaboration within the leadership team and with international consulting teams
• Support customers from presales through company-wide rollouts
• Travel approximately 1–2 days per week

• You tackle challenges together with your team in a customer-, goal- and team-oriented manner and are only satisfied with very good solutions
• You think in systems and understand how to digitalize and embed processes
• You are an engaging personality with analytical thinking and stay up to date both technologically and methodologically
• You enjoy working in international teams – colleagues come from the DACH region and South Africa
• You constructively support business development as a subject-matter expert, including acquiring new clients, maintaining client relationships and participating in RFPs
• We rely on your solid experience with DWH and ETL technologies in environments such as Qlik, Talend, Azure, MS Fabric, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks or other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Desirable additional skills: experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Jedox, Tableau
• Initial experience in building teams or first leadership experience, deputy team lead experience and interaction with C-level stakeholders (internal/external)
• Several years of consulting experience (4+ years preferred), with flexibility and willingness to travel
• You hold a degree in Business Informatics or a comparable field and can demonstrate extensive experience in Business Intelligence or Data Management
• We expect a flair for creative problem-solving and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Excellent German and English skills (at least C1)
