Responsibilities
Join a team of engineers and technicians specialized in optics, electronics, mechanics and software
Responsible for the design of products for the characterization and calibration of optronic equipment
Study and validate the technical and economic feasibility of collimators and their upgrades or variants
Specify, model and develop innovative optical systems
Ensure that collimators meet required performance specifications
Monitor technological advances to remain at the forefront of optics and optronics
Take full ownership of R&D project management: schedule, budget, risk management and technical coordination
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (optics, electronics, mechanics, software)
Act as the primary client contact and be responsible for the quality, deadlines and performance of deliverables
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher (engineering degree or PhD) in optics/optronics or equivalent
At least 10 years’ substantial experience managing projects with a strong optical component
Scientific rigor and strong writing skills
Curious, with a solid technical and scientific background, hands-on experimental aptitude, proactive and a team player who enjoys working on innovative solutions
Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for communication with teams and anglophone clients
