About the role
- Frontend Engineer working on building a scalable SaaS platform for the shipping community. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building a cloud-based scalable and reliable SaaS platform that hundreds of users use daily
- Work on a product with a modular architecture using a modern technology stack and software development best practices
- Write automated tests, to ensure high quality in our deliverables
- Be a member of a cross-functional software development team that uses Agile methodologies to continuously deliver value to our customers
- Develop your software engineering skills by being part of the lively and supportive high-growth environment our engineering team provides
- Get exposure on working with back-end related technologies and have the opportunity to grow into a full-stack developer
- Work in high pace environment translating requirements to robust and efficient software solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of front-end development experience in:
- Programming in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS
- React, React Hooks and Redux
- Automated testing
- Git and related workflows
- Agile development cycle
- Fulfilled Military obligations (where applicable)
- Additionally, familiarity with the following will be considered a plus:
- UI/UX design
- Back-end development in Java
- Relational databases and SQL
- CI/CD processes and release automation (Jenkins, GItLab, etc.)
- Docker, Kubernetes and the cloud native ecosystem
- Public cloud providers and their services, ideally with AWS
