About the role
- Real Estate Consultant responsible for managing transactional and portfolio functions for affordable housing in Hamilton. Engaging in research, planning, and negotiating for the City of Hamilton's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery and administration of core transactional and portfolio management functions
- Engage in activities to undertake research and analysis and provide advice
- Negotiate transactions and agreements
- Plan and guide the work of City Partners regarding real property assets
- Conduct due diligence, research, analysis, and reviews of properties
Requirements
- Knowledge in real estate and land development
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Experience in negotiating transactions pertaining to real property
- Familiarity with Ontario Municipal Act, Planning Act, and other relevant legislation
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Project management experience leading cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software applications
- Class G driver's license valid in the Province of Ontario
