Network Engineer responsible for post-sales remote and on-site support in LATAM region. Develop expertise in networking products and ensure network sustainability with customer collaboration.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the customer's network
Hold network information gathering workshops with the customer to understand their existing network design and technical requirements for new network deployments
Understand the customer’s organizational structure, become familiar with customer's network implementation and support procedures, and help drive to the highest level of network availability and sustainability
Carry out testing of new designs, features, and functionality as required by the customer in a laboratory environment
Validate patches and fixes to operating software
Troubleshoot equipment and network problems
Track Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s)
Analyze network performance in terms of tickets, root causes, correlation and trends
Produce a written summary report of the status of Design projects, equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the customer
Requirements
Engineering or equivalent Graduates with 8+ years of relevant work experience
Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently
Strong Interpersonal skills
Presentation skills
7+ years of experience providing implementation and technical support of networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services environments
7+ years experience in managing large technical account activity revolving around network products from multiple vendors
Work experience working with Service Providers in the Telco Industry environment
Experience in fault isolation logic and techniques
Detailed technical experience in the installation and operation of IP Routers Switches and Firewalls
Detailed understanding of the protocols surrounding IP networks
