Lead Automation Test Engineer responsible for implementing automated testing frameworks. Collaborate across departments to drive quality initiatives at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-level automated testing frameworks using Tricentis Tosca and other tools.
Define and enforce best practices for test automation, code quality, and test data management.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers, and provide technical leadership.
Analyze test coverage, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
Partner with product and development teams to define test strategies for complex features and systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Expert-level proficiency in Tricentis Tosca, including test case design, test data management, and API testing.
Strong experience with additional tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Optional Certifications (Preferred but not required): Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1, 2, and Test Design Specialist; ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level; Test Automation Engineer; Certified Agile Test Leader (CATL); Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)
