Chef de Projets & Architecte Infrastructure at IDEA, transforming client needs into solid architecture and coordinating project deployment.
Responsibilities
Act as the project contact: With client project managers and cross-functional teams (Devs, ERP, Business), you gather their needs, challenge them, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the team.
Design and lead: From scoping to production deployment, you are responsible for technical coherence (On-prem, Hybrid, Cloud).
Remove blockers: You coordinate our experts so projects don't fail due to interface issues (e.g., when the system is waiting on the network).
Serve as technical advisor: You help the Infrastructure Manager make the right technology choices for the next three years.
Keep your hands dirty: Your credibility rests on a real understanding of technologies. You aren't afraid to open a shell to investigate a blocker or capture network traffic with Wireshark.
Requirements
You have a technical background: You have administered servers or configured switches.
You know what a firewall rule or storage latency is.
You're a translator: You can explain to business stakeholders why a project requires time, and to engineers why business requirements impose certain constraints.
You dislike disorder: For you, a project without documentation and a clear end vision is a growing technical debt.
You have leadership, not authority: You move the team and projects forward through your expertise, teaching ability, and organizational skills.
Benefits
A strong team: Not mediocre generalists, but true specialists with deep expertise in their respective domains.
Autonomy: We give you full ownership of your projects.
Close technical management: The Infrastructure Manager is your day-to-day partner. They speak your language, understand your constraints, and will be your first support in deciding technology choices and prioritizing urgent matters.
No silos: We work collaboratively with Level 2 support and application teams.
