About the role
- Staff Product Engineer building responsible AI-powered products for GPTZero's users. Collaborating with teams to define product roadmaps and ensuring quality user experiences throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ship intuitive, industry-defining, AI-powered products to our millions of users
- Own your work end-to-end while leading an elite engineering team
- Operate throughout the product lifecycle, from user discovery, analytics, triage, and experimentation
- Collaborate on defining the product roadmap with our ML, design, and business teams
- Design robust software and a robust engineering organization in partnership with the CTO
Requirements
- Led a significant product building end-to-end experiences from backend to UI
- Experienced with modern JS web frameworks (React.js, Next.js, and Typescript) and databases (SQL, NoSQL, or text search)
- Experienced with software architecting and technical leadership
- Highly motivated to make impact in a fast-moving workplace
- An urge to make things better and seek out good problems to solve
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- Canada/US work eligibility or visa
