Responsibilities
You’ll be applying your data skills to solve problems at the heart of our business model.
You’ll have license to run experiments, imagine surveying from first principles, and implement solutions with a product team to build the world’s best survey engine.
As you shape the trajectory of Tracksuit, you’ll be able to directly measure your impact and demonstrate your contribution to the business.
You’ll have high-level business goals and outcomes, but it’s up to you to define the problems and solutions.
Designing machine learning algorithms to optimise survey collection.
Running and analysing experiments to improve respondent engagement.
Building our survey data quality monitoring system.
Requirements
Has 3+ years experience as a Data Scientist
Deep understanding of statistics, including both frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
Strong fluency in SQL and in scripting languages such as Python and R.
(Nice to have) Experience with operational research, experimentation, or classical machine learning
You're energized by solving real problems and thrive when exploring new domains
You balance statistical rigor with business pragmatism, making smart trade-offs to ship solutions that matter
You prioritize your work, drive projects forward, and know when to move fast vs. when to de-risk
You find joy communicating technical work in ways that resonate with customers, product partners, and commercial stakeholders
