About the role
- Graduate Reliability Engineer at GKN Aerospace enhancing operational excellence through data analysis and project participation within large structural assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in capital projects to ensure that reliability and availability are specifically addressed.
- Continually reviewing equipment data to identify opportunities to improve the technical strategy.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis.
- Leading partnerships with Engineering, Maintenance and Manufacturing.
- Monitoring of failures to identify root causes and implementing appropriate actions.
- Organisation and indirect leadership of Criticality Assessment and Risk Based Maintenance analysis teams.
- Identification of design-out opportunities and action to evaluate these and implement cost-justifiable actions.
- Initiation and implementation of changes to PMs when appropriate.
- Provision of training as needs are identified, including Root Cause Failure Analysis training for team members as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong analytical capabilities, ability to transfer data into excel & communicate to all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve in a changing environment.
- Experience within an aerospace production environment.
