About the role
- Business Reporting Junior Developer at Givaudan, ensuring reporting services and dashboard development for Finance. Collaborating globally to maintain service execution and data quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide controlling and reporting services within the Reporting Center to the Finance and Controlling organization globally
- Ensure service execution is in accordance to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations
- Reporting dashboard development and subsequent reporting maintenance
- Prepare systems, load data, check data quality and accuracy, ensure necessary master data is maintained and updated for upcoming reporting cycle
- Populate reports and analyses within the agreed SLA, perform data adjustments within the reporting application, ensure data quality and completeness before sending to the respective Controlling organization
- In case of major data deviations, escalate to management and suggest a solution (root-cause or manual data adjustment)
- Provide business support on the agreed level, perform ad-hoc reporting upon request
- Maintain and develop dashboards to meet customer needs using business intelligence tools, Tableau platform or macro-Excel on the agreed level under guidance from senior team members
- Prepare data sets and work with systems and databases, streamline and automate dashboard refreshes
- Gather and translate customer requirements using Design Thinking and Agile approaches under leadership of Senior Developer or Management
- Document and maintain report requirements in specific documents
Requirements
- University degree in fields related to business, information technology or science
- Fluent English level
- 0-2 years of work experience in controlling and with reporting tools preferred
- MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, preferably some experience with reporting applications (BO WebI, BO Analysis, BeX query designer) and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SAP BW Hana
- Basic knowledge of VBA macro would be beneficial
- Proven experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools is an advantage
- User Experience, Data visualization, data storytelling is an advantage
