About the role

• Infrastructure Engineering Task Lead at GDIT supporting HHS customer with a focus on infrastructure engineering services. Oversee engineering tasks and coordinate with Government while managing technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the primary interface to the Government for all infrastructure engineering support
• Supporting the full range of infrastructure engineering services to include: Network engineering, Security engineering, New / upgraded site installation engineering, Data center design and enhancement engineering, Third party network access engineering, Backup and storage engineering, Infrastructure patch management, Infrastructure integration and testing, Infrastructure research and technology innovation
• Overseeing and managing the delivery of design and development for all infrastructure engineering tasks including Integration and testing, Migration / deployment support functions for new and existing infrastructure solutions.
• Ensuring quality delivery of Engineering Tier 3 support in coordination with the Service Desk to resolve network outages

Requirements

• 10+ total years of related experience
• 3+ years in a lead infrastructure engineering role
• 3+ years in a lead role supporting an enterprise ecosystem
• 3+ years managing technical staff as a manager/team lead
• Previous large-scale (15K+ endpoints) experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers is required.
• Expertise in: Vulnerability management, Patch management, Zero Trust principles and implementation, Azure Cloud Security, Logging, Threat hunting, CDM
