Responsibilities
Design data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support supply chain analytics and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams by participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing automated data quality checks and validation processes
Optimize data storage solutions and troubleshoot pipeline performance using GCP monitoring tools
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and supply chain management
Develop and document data processes, architecture, and workflows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
5 years of experience with Programming in Python or Java for data engineering tasks
Experience in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
Optimizing performance and deploying applications
Executing unit tests using Mockito and JUnit
Experience in CI/CD methodology
3 years of experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
2 years of experience with developing scalable Java applications using Apache Beam, Java APIs, and Exception Handling
Automating workflows with GCP Cloud Functions and Cloud Scheduler
Implementing data processing pipelines with Pandas and NumPy
Utilizing Git for version control to manage code repositories.
