About the role

Responsibilities
- Function as a product owner and leader on testing methodologies, testing strategies, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
- Establish key quality metrics and tracking mechanism to monitor testing effectiveness, identify trends and insights for continuous improvement.
- Promote knowledge sharing, learning sessions and trainings for the community.
- Construct new test automation frameworks, conduct proof of concepts for new Quality tools, and maintain existing tools and frameworks.
- Prioritize team member's growth and career development while supporting organization competencies.
- Proficiency in Java programming language with Good OOPS concept knowledge for Selenium script development.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and associated tools.
- Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit, Pytest.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Action.
- Exposure in API Automation using Rest Assured, SOAPUI, POSTMAN or Hoppscotch.
- Experience in using build tools – Gradle, Maven.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- A minimum 8 years of software testing experience
- Proven expertise and experience in Opentext ALM, Selenium, Cucumber, Ready API, Unified functional text (UFT)
- Proficiency in CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins/Tekton/GitHub actions.
- Experience with Agile disciplines
