About the role
- Student assistant in Data Analytics supporting the finance team of a fast-growing company delivering groceries in 120 minutes. Involves SQL queries and Power BI dashboard development.
Responsibilities
- You contribute to the design and creation of SQL database queries on Azure Databricks and thereby gain insights into the financial data of a fast-growing company
- You support the development, testing and deployment of dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
- Together with the business unit, you participate in the design of reports and help build the financial reporting framework of a young company
- You actively help shape the accounting-relevant data landscape
- You analyze relationships and derive approaches to optimize and automate processes and data flows
- You analyze data flows, identify optimization potential and propose ideas to automate our processes
Requirements
- You have successfully completed the initial semesters of your degree with a focus on business/economics or natural sciences
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
- You have a high IT affinity, good knowledge of Office 365 (especially MS Excel) and Python, and/or initial experience with SQL (Spark)
- Previous experience with Power BI is a plus
