Responsibilities
- Represent insured owners and lenders in resolving a wide range of real estate title issues
- Manage an assigned caseload from the initial investigation to a final litigated resolution
- Examining title, developing resolution and litigation strategies
- Drafting and obtaining curative documents
- Negotiating pre-suit settlements
- Prosecuting or defending litigation through trial and appeal
Requirements
- A seasoned litigator with a minimum of 5 years of real estate litigation experience
- Experience with title insurance defense and the tripartite relationship is highly desirable
- Ability to think outside the box and find creative resolutions
- Strong critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Juris Doctor Degree
- Member of the California State Bar
