About the role
- Custom Configurator Coordinator managing technical specifications for customized sports merchandise at Fanatics. Seeking detailed-oriented individual proficient in Adobe tools for a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Asset Collection & Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to collect logos, fonts, and other design assets required for custom jersey builds.
- Technical Entry & Configuration: Input precise x,y coordinate data into HomePlate to ensure accurate placement of graphics, text, and logos on jersey templates.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and font creation tools to prepare and validate assets for use in the configurator.
- Dynamic Rendering Support: Assist in the setup and troubleshooting of dynamic image rendering tools to ensure real-time visual accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and merchandising teams to ensure builds meet both aesthetic and technical standards.
- Quality Assurance: Review and test configurations for accuracy, consistency, and visual appeal before final approval.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain clear documentation of configuration processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and scalability.
- Represent your Manager as their proxy when they are away, unavailable, or unreachable.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical or creative coordination role, preferably within apparel, sports, or digital customization environments
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and font creation tools
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with coordinate-based design systems
- Familiarity with dynamic image rendering tools is a strong plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours for product launches
- Passion for sports, jerseys, and customization—UK soccer fandom is a bonus!
