About the role
- Design Engineer involved in Airbus concession processes for fuselage detail and assembly manufacturing in Bangalore. Collaborating across functions to ensure accurate and efficient concession submissions.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out concession origination (T0) for A350/A320/LR fuselage detail & assembly manufacturing non-conformances.
- Compiling inspection data and measurements provided by production into Airbus SAP, checking quality and validity of information to ensure accurate and legible concessions are submitted into the tool.
- Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis whilst ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements.
- Able to liaise with multiple functions (e.g. Quality inspection, design, etc.) to ensure most appropriate information is included with consideration to cost, time, performance and quality requirements.
- Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others. Using Airbus VPM, APSNG, GILDA, 3D JUMP, NOVODESK and CATIA V5 to verify and check accuracy of information, interrogating the DMU & Attributes checks as required.

- Experience working on Airbus concession creation either directly for Airbus or the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and having held Airbus T0 Certification
- Knowledge across the A350/A320/LR programme, preferably with both metallic and composite fuselage capabilities and the build sequence / process.
- Understanding of both design and stress requirements when submitting concessions, to limit the number of returns for further information.
- Knowledge & experience of Airbus concession processes and procedures.
- Completed SAP Concession Origination Certification Training Course (T0) and proficient at using SAP PAC for concession origination.
- Working knowledge of VPM and CATIA V5 for interrogation and information retrieval (affected parts & assemblies and dimensional checking).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
