About the role
- Field Insurance Inspector conducting virtual and onsite inspections of high value homes and small businesses for insurance companies. Analyzing replacement costs and assessing risks with detailed reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual and onsite inspections of high value homes and small businesses for personal and commercial lines insurance companies
- Analyze replacement cost value and assess risk
- Document construction materials, workmanship, and special features of structures
- Generate an estimate replacement cost based on findings
- Observe and assess physical and liability hazards to the property
- Document all hazards for underwriting and make recommendations for risk improvement
- Complete detailed survey report write-up
Requirements
- Experience in the insurance/loss control industry preferred
- Knowledge of the construction and real estate business is desirable
- Motivated and self-directed individuals who strive for excellence
- Capable of demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and expertise to all stakeholders in the survey process
- Must complete the requisite number of surveys each month to achieve personal revenue production goals
