About the role
- Forecast planner role focusing on supply chain processes at Daimler Buses. Collaborating on complex methods and ensuring material availability for production sites in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and planning of material requirements to ensure maximum material availability and optimal inventory levels for the Neu‑Ulm and Mannheim plants
- Co-design and implementation of complex processes and methods in forecast planning and subassembly pre‑planning across sites together with plant experts
- Planning and controlling the introduction, discontinuation and scope changes of parts and assemblies across plants
- Ongoing monitoring and controlling of demand planning parameters
- Cross‑site demand analyses and controlling, including error and root‑cause analyses
- Ensuring the sustainability and optimization of complex methods and processes in forecast planning and subassembly pre‑planning
- Independently preparing presentations, charts, Excel reports and statistics in German and English
- Active participation and contribution to projects and working groups
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training with further qualification as Master Craftsman / Technician (m/f/d)
- Very good knowledge of production/manufacturing and order processing workflows, as well as supply and logistics processes
- Solid experience with SAP and MS Office
- Intercultural experience
- Excellent German and English skills
- Systematic and structured working style, very good analytical skills and a strong process‑oriented understanding
