About the role
- Finance Manager responsible for overall financial management and reporting at EveryPay, a tech and regulated financial services institution. Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance in financial records while managing regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and dynamically revise budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure adequate liquidity and financial stability.
- Analyze financial results and performance trends, preparing structured and targeted reports to support business and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounting entries and coordinate the monthly and annual closing process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure proper financial implementation of PSD2 regulatory requirements, with emphasis on their correct representation in financial statements and reporting.
- Prepare, review, and submit supervisory and regulatory reports to the Bank of Greece, and support related supervisory reviews and audits.
- Manage working capital and cash position, including the development and maintenance of effective banking relationships.
- Support Executive Management with financial analyses, scenarios, and business cases related to growth, pricing, and new products.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the key point of contact for external auditors and supervisory bodies.
- Lead, guide, and develop the Finance team, aiming to improve the quality of financial information and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized academic institution.
- At least six (6) years of proven professional experience in a similar or related role with responsibility.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
- Excellent knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Excel and modern ERP / financial reporting systems.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CFA, or equivalent) is considered an important asset.
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting financial and supervisory reports to competent authorities.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or another technology-driven and highly regulated financial environment, with exposure to complex financial flows and increased control requirements.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and/or data analysis languages (e.g., SQL), with the ability to leverage them for advanced financial analysis and reporting.
