About the role
- Consultant providing Environmental Health and Safety support to Fortune 500 clients. Conducting risk assessments and developing innovative EHS programs primarily in Northern California.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, providing onsite support and strategic guidance
- Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations to ensure compliance and protect personnel
- Help develop and implement innovative EHS programs in areas such as Hazard Communication, Injury Illness Prevention, Chemical Management, and Process Safety
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality solutions that exceed expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related science (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and client-focused
- Willingness to travel to and be at client site(s) for up to 40 hours/week primarily within the Northern California San Fran Bay Area, California
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
