About the role

  • (Senior) Elektroingenieur Netzanschluss & Schutztechnik managing energy projects with a focus on technical feasibility and commissioning. Engaging with network operators and engineering teams in Munich.

Responsibilities

  • As Electrical Engineer for Grid Connection and Protection Engineering (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the complete grid connection work package — from technical feasibility to commissioning.
  • You will manage distribution system operator (DSO) processes, coordinate tests and produce technical documentation. You will act as a central interface between project management, engineering and DSOs.
  • Prepare grid connection applications and submit technical data packages
  • Manage and respond to technical queries from DSOs
  • Plan and take responsibility for compliance with VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110
  • Define single-line diagrams, protection concepts, CT specifications and remote telemetry/control systems
  • Coordinate external partners for protection tests such as FAT and SAT
  • Maintain schedules for grid-related milestones and manage dependencies and risks
  • Consolidate approvals, test reports and certificates up to commissioning
  • Evolve standards, templates and grid connection processes

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification, e.g. master craftsman or technician
  • Several years of experience with grid connection of energy systems, ideally battery storage or renewable energy projects
  • Solid knowledge of protection engineering, standards and DSO processes
  • Confident in reading and producing single-line diagrams and technical specifications
  • Experience with certification and testing processes including FAT and SAT
  • Clear and professional communication with DSOs and authorities; German at least C1.
