Responsibilities
- Architect and lead complex platform projects from design to deployment.
- Enable engineering teams with robust CI/CD capabilities through reusable patterns, automation, and security-first practices.
- Design scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and config management tools.
- Build and optimize cloud-native architectures across multiple cloud providers with cost efficiency in mind.
- Engineer containerized environments with advanced orchestration, networking, and security.
- Deliver internal platforms and self-service capabilities that improve developer experience and reduce friction.
- Implement observability stacks—metrics, logs, traces, and proactive alerting for reliability.
- Champion security and compliance across infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Architect secure, scalable networking solutions for hybrid and cloud environments.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and tooling.
- Lead and mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and influence technical direction.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and plan for capacity at scale.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in **CI/CD, automation, and pipeline architecture**.
- Mastery of **IaC tools** (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and **config management** (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
- **Strong cloud architecture skills** (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost optimization strategies.
- **Advanced containerization and orchestration experience** (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Proficiency in **observability tools** (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Security-first mindset with hands-on experience in **access control, encryption, and incident response**.
- Solid **networking knowledge** - protocols, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking.
