About the role

• Senior Developer for the Digital Customer Experience IT team at Emerson. Building and maintaining the cNext application with JSP, Java, and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development using JSP and Java for the frontend
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL for backend logic
• Integration with Oracle Standard Configurator workflows
• Integration of cNext application with Emerson.com
• Responsible for new Development/customization Module implementation
• Proactively monitors processes to identify trends; analyses/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring to ensure high service levels.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years proven experience in Application development, Installation, Administration, Configuration, Customization, Migration
• Strong in Java (8+), JSP/Servlets, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience with Oracle Standard Configurator integration.
• Knowledge of JDBC, SQL Developer, and web servers (Tomcat/WebLogic).
• Hands-on with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, triggers, tuning).
• Understanding of REST/SOAP, XML/JSON integration.
• Ability to debug across tiers and optimize performance.
