About the role
- Design Engineer responsible for designing nuclear valves and valve components at Szekesfehervar Nuclear Center. Collaborates with product engineers on technical documentation and project-specific tasks.
Responsibilities
- Do adaptations of existing qualified designs to order-specific requirements in partnership with peers in different global locations
- Perform calculation and design of components following order-relevant nuclear codes and standards.
- Build 3D assemblies / variant designs with the aid of the CAD system Solid Works
- Draft and check of 2D drawings, production documents and assembly documents according to general and internal standards
- Prepare technical documents (drawings, material lists, etc.) or any other technical documents within the project-specific scope and offer general support for compiling the nuclear documents-for-approval files
- Do data management in the ERP and document management.
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in valve technology
- MS Office applications proficiency
- Knowledge of one of the following CAD programs: SolidWorks, Inventor
- Good written and spoken English (min. language level B2)
- Openness to travel regularly across Europe (Car driver’s license)
