- Secure Remote Access Engineer role supporting enterprise remote access solutions within Booz Allen's Application Delivery Networking team. Implementing Zero Trust principles for secure remote access.
Responsibilities
- Support the company’s secure remote access group within the broader Application Delivery Networking team by implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise remote access solutions
- Assist in deploying solutions based on Zero Trust principles, including ZTNA and SASE, while helping ensure compliance and reliability across hybrid and cloud environments
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers to resolve issues, support automation efforts, and follow established operational procedures
- Collaborate with security, network, and application teams, maintain documentation, and stay current with emerging technologies related to Zero Trust operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with enterprise remote access, VPN, or Zero Trust technologies
- Experience supporting or working within technical teams
- Experience with remote access monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and technologies
- Knowledge of SASE platforms and cloud-delivered security services
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing fundamentals, firewall policies, and identity-based access controls
- Ability to follow operational procedures and support compliance with security policies
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- HS diploma or GED
