About the role
- Oracle Cloud Engineer responsible for designing cloud-based architectures for mission-critical applications. Collaborating with industry leaders and ensuring standards meet cloud migration processes.
Responsibilities
- Create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs
- Develop cloud-based solutions for critical applications and products
- Work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design
- Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
- Recommend tools and solutions based on research and knowledge
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
- 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions
- 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Experience creating advanced OCI solutions
- Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O & M
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
