Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to the company's various departments by analyzing requests and applying relevant legislation, offering appropriate legal support.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal opinions, administrative defenses and other legal documents, and follow cases through to their conclusion, ensuring compliance with established strategies.
- Provide legal support for the analysis and interpretation of the Concession Agreement, its amendments and applicable regulatory standards, contributing to compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Draft, analyze and review legal documents, contracts and opinions according to established complexity criteria, ensuring clarity, concision and legal compliance.
- Monitor and support the work of outside law firms, ensuring alignment with institutional guidelines and quality standards.
- Perform routine legal activities, monitor judicial and administrative proceedings, provide required documentation and update case management systems.
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date on legislation, case law and regulatory standards, providing technical foundation for activities.
- Ensure observance of best practices in Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety and Social Responsibility, as well as compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Act in accordance with the Compliance and Corporate Ethics Program, observing internal rules and the Company's guidelines.
Requirements
- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Experience with highway/road concessions preferred.
- Postgraduate degree in administrative law, regulatory law or related fields preferred.
