Responsibilities
Responsible for the architecture of our microservices — from design to implementation
Create guidelines and solution patterns for cloud-based applications
Ensure efficient and resilient platform operations
Conduct reviews regarding architecture and design standards
Advise our various teams and platform operations stakeholders
Promote knowledge transfer within and across teams
Occasional business travel to other locations
Requirements
Degree or vocational training with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification
Extensive experience in developing and architecting complex enterprise applications and microservices
Strong understanding of architectural patterns (Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, etc.)
Familiar with agile project work and methodologies
Excellent knowledge of Java and development of Spring Boot applications using Kafka
Experience with REST / SOAP, MQ, Oracle / PostgreSQL, Angular, TypeScript, container technologies and cloud technologies (especially Kubernetes)
Test automation (Gauge) and GitOps
Very good German language skills (C1) and English
