About the role

• CISO managing corporate-wide information security strategy for Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH. Overseeing risk management and compliance with legal standards in information security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the further development and implementation of the company-wide information security management strategy
• Provide impetus for the continuous improvement of the information security architecture
• Define the required level of information security and security objectives together with the management of DVV mbH, including regular review of the Group's security level and reporting to management
• Prepare information security concepts as well as work and procedural instructions
• Manage IT and telecommunications risk and security management
• Initiate, coordinate and conduct awareness and training measures on information security and carry out annual ISMS audits
• Provide technical leadership to the information security officers across the Group
• Serve as the point of contact for customers of DVV and for external organizations in the context of information security
• Coordinate security-relevant projects and act as the information security contact for all relevant projects

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, IT or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in IT with a focus on information security across the entire enterprise architecture
• Solid knowledge of the legal foundations of information security with a focus on KRITIS (critical infrastructure)
• Experience in planning, implementing and controlling IT security measures
• In-depth know-how in handling security vulnerabilities and threat potentials
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management
• Experience in facilitation and the ability to conduct results-oriented presentations
