Responsibilities
- Serve as AMPP’s in-house attorney and legal strategist
- Oversee governance, compliance, employment law, contract management, IP protection
- Safeguard AMPP’s intellectual property portfolio
- Collaborate with executive teams to align legal strategy with business objectives
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, commercial agreements, and compliance
- Manage claims, disputes, and external counsel
- Advise on employment-related matters and compliance with laws
- Support digital governance and cybersecurity compliance
- Advise on legal implications of new business models
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 8–12+ years of progressive legal experience
- Expertise in commercial contracting, corporate governance, compliance, IP protection, employment law
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into business guidance
- Exceptional communication skills
